Yo, TIC, that's almost EXACTLY what I'm doing with my 2000xl. You even got the Vestax slider that I'm using. Wierd sh!t. Now I'ma hafta do white buttons instead of the black. Ain't trying to bite anyone's style 8)

One question, tho..

Where did you get the li'l black buttons for the F1-F6 buttons? VST said they don't got the little ones in black, but you got 'em. I want those sh!ts real bad.

BTW, Why didn't you get the black buttons for the numbers/SHIFT/ENTER, too?

Oh yeah, I can't ell from the pic, but it looks like your slider is floating up a bit. If you haven't already done it, you can take the li'l black collar off the slider arm, so the Vestax slider rests more flush to the MPC.

Peace1

the lil black buttons were the only ones that the paint actually worked on :)

They only have three sizes of button---small, medium, and large. I order all the medium and large, but they didnt have the small ones.

So I left my small ones the normal color, except for f1-f6...those were the only ones that I painted black that actually came out decent.

If you look at the buttons on the number pad, you can still kinda see some of the grime from the back paint that wouldnt come off.

Soon as VST has black small buttons, I'll order those.

As for my fader, its actually a Rane fader, an extra from my TTM54. No matter what I do, I cant get it to sit flush, so I just accept it how it is.
