Strange program problem with autochromatic assignment

For the most part i use autochromatic assignment, and a long bass sample under drum2 with my MIDI keyboard. For reasons unknown the sequence with the bass in it (Seq1, Drum2) plays perfect by itself, but when i put the sequence in song mode, the bass program wont play.. the thing that tipped me off was that a DIFFERENT sequence, using the same track/program works fine when in song mode... can different sequences not share autochromatic programs??? I'll keep screwin with it, but anyone have any insight?

just try to recreate the sequence elsewhere

you might have screwed with the settings on that one by accident, and forget how you did it.

DAMN! i recreated the whole sequence by hand (didnt copy any tracks or anything) and the AUTO program still wont play in song mode... im really confused, this has always worked fine for me. the program will play when i turn the "Pgm:" field right above Velo%: to program 2, but then EVERY track plays as program 2...

So what would make the sequence play fine when playing it individually, but then in song mode drum2 will not play at all?
