Probs with SCSI drive assembly

Hi,
sorry for my english but i´m from germany

Whatever, I bought a MPC 2000 over eBay. I never worked with it and I got a lot of questions. first one is, how can i load sounds from the SCSI drive assembly ? which number of the available SCSI is it ? This thing is quiet complicated ^^

would be nice if you help me.. thx

If you have a regular 2000 (not an XL) you need a DB25(Male) to DB25(Male) SCSI cable.

Such as this one.

thanks fpr your reply, i already have such a cable. at the back of the drive assembly are 2 slots, which one of these are necessary for the communication between mpc and scsi the upper or lower

ok i fixed the problem, i can connect to the scsi drive, but i can´t load any sounds ? the whole cd is full of files with .wav´s in it. sry for all the nub questions...

Try using the program below and make programs, save them on a cd, and then see if they will load up on the MPC.

thx a lot. i´ll try this. the manual doesn´t help me very well.. got no clue how to start makin´ a regular beat. are here some tut´s around ?
