i beatbox. and I'm as good as that guy. Though beatboxers from european countries are much better. Lately I stopped beatboxing and went back to turntablism cus it's pretty boring when you're unable to improve better. I don't even take beatboxing seriously.. but maybe I should.

anyway. I was wondering if I can do what that guy is doing with an mpc cus I dont like doing computer related stuff.. Or is an mpc just for sampling beats.. and you cant record voice audio and loop that..

someone told me I should get a akai headrush ... is there a better piece of equipment with more buttons? I'm lookin for touchpads.

You can do all of that and alot more....

The mpc will let you record different layers of audio and build up a track that way, for production...

But a special 'looping tool' will let you do a similar thing live, because you can layer audio loops without ever stopping the playback. The mpc won't do that. Something like an Electrix Repeater or Boss RC20XL will, I think.

oh. yea i wanna get into production so i need to get an mpc anyway.. but yea thats what I meant.. i wanted to loop live.. guess i'll have to use ableton live + a midi looper .. or get the akai headrush..

yup, UK beatboxers are hella better. Over there they're like fanatics and they have 5 man beatboxing groups. Here I don't know, we have old school people like doug-e-fresh and rahzel. But they don't have anything that I cant do. They're great, but not the greatest.

It's like the mainstream, and the underground. There is always more talent in the underground.

ionno man. i was beatboxing like 4 years ago and that's when i noticed there were an insane amount of UK beatboxers.. i think theres a beatboxing forum and there's lots of vids on there of killa kela and other good beatboxers.
