Question about he CD-M25 CD Drive

If I get the 2500 with the CD-M25, can I actually sample from any CD?

Also, is it possible to sample drum sounds from a CD and make drum kits from them?

I'm pretty much convinced to get the 2500. . .I think I'm gonna go insane with the machine with all it's capabilities
