2 outs question

hey everyone i kinda have a silly question. i do not have the 8 outs yet only 2 but my question is: can you have the drums come out of out 1, and then the rest of the tracks or what not coming out of out 2? i was just wondering, i wanted to add some effects to the drums but not the other samples. thank you.

yeah you can, just pan your drums to the left in the mixer on the mpc, and pan everything else to the right, that will seperate em and take each channel into what you want to put them into.
