but i seen it in a video the guy just holds down the pad and it plays the hihat over and over

press the note repeat button. there's more details about it in the manual. just don't expect anyone to hold your hand, when you can find all the answers much quicker on your own.

read the manual, its all in there. then use the forum search function. then ask questions.

Not questions like these sweetie. Why? Because they are plainly written in the manual. But im not finna get in yo ass like a wedgie. But if u want to have your hi hats goin constant then set your timing to 1/16 and hold the Tap Tempo and the pad with the hi hat on it. If you want them fast high hats set your timing to 1/32 and hold the Tap Tempo button and the pad with the hi hat on it.

I'll be making a video soon so be on the look out.

thanks for the help i have just got the mpc 1000 i got it yesterday thats why im asking really plain questions
