Un-discussed CF Install Question - 39 Pin CF to 40 Pin MPC

My New CF Reader has 39 pins and the motherboard has 40 pins...does that mean that a 2 way 40 pin cable is what is required to install this?

Where did u buy that 39pin CF reader?

If your Card reader is missing a pin in the middle (making it a 40 pin), then you can still use a regular IDE cable and connect it to the MPC board. Some have 39 pins ... some have 40 but they still call it a 40 pin connection... it'll still work
