Cheapest 2000XLMCD online?

Hi,

Ive decided to upgrade from 1000 to 2000xlmcd, and im looking for a good deal. The best price ive found so far is at bhphoto.com for 1,499.95.

I'm also looking for 8 outs and the effectcard. Any good deals?

Tried searching but the threads were pretty old and things have probably changed since then.

I would go ahead and order one cause they aint gunna be around much longer. I tried to order one from my friend at guitarcenter and he said they can't get any more.

Bottomline I was told is 1399.00 So thats a all right price.

DAMN what ever happened to resourceful people....i think the internet made everyone lazy.. honestly man i picked up my never been used mpc2000xl from a pawn shop for $540... bought a card reader for it with all the stuff for install off ebay for another $75...copped a couple different scsi cables (to usb, to zip) for 3 bucks a piece and still had enough outta my 1200 hard earned money to cop an asrxpro from music go round for $350 bucks.. you just have to look on the outside world. the problem is that the internet always has 100000 people selling the same stuff so youre not gonna find TOO much price variation.. personally go to guitar center or something and start asking the pro audio guys there to keep an ear to the streets for someone whos lookin to off their mpc and work from there...then start hittin every pawn shop and second hand instrument store within 100 miles of you

Playboy, you can get a loaded 2kxl off of ebay and install ya own card reader. Goto http://www.synchrotech.com/products/card-rw_32.html for the card reader, then check out Lampdogs "Links for the MPC addict" for the install instructions. Just use the search forum and search by author; ie. Lampdog.
