1 how do you do drum rolls - build ups using the mpc without changing tempo of song and should I structure the song on pc or song mode on the mpc like seq1 main seq2 break so on but making the transitions smooth seems kinda hard putting all these diffrent parts of a song to make one full song

use the note repete then at a fast rate, then go into step edit and take out some notes at the start, to get a buildup going, or use step edit and write in note with the interval being shortend by a decresing amount untill you get to the desired tempo, does that make sense??

you can also create a 'fill' for transition at the end of a pattern by putting the extra notes on a separate track and bringing it in/out using the track mute screen
