Yeah it could look better, but really who gives a ****? It looks like it serves its purpose and is a good start.

Thank you for the kind words krux.

To be honest That was the second attempt.

The first site I made using sandvox beta software. Sandvox is a nice idea but unfortunately very unwieldy. I ended up with a 7mb site.

The site i have at my url was made with the excellent Nvu open source (freeware) and Was my first attempt with that.

To be honest it was a learning process and i was more interested in finding out how to do links etc and some basic animations.

It does look a bit crude. But It has served its purpose as i was able to plan what content i was going to put on my site.

I am now working on a mk3 site. I have paid a lot of attention on design concepts and spent time making it look good.

I still have to polish up my html and embed some sounds etc.

But i am really putting some time in to the site now.

Hope to update it later this week. Please come and visit and submit any tracks you have.

Cheers!

Hi dfens. Fair comment. I did redo it but if it still looks cheap then enought said.

If you load the site and its black then that means that you have the old site stored in the history of your browser. The newer version i did is in white and yellow.

If any one has any ideas about what i should do with the design i would be all ears. Ok cool see ya soon.

maybe if you tried getting a colour scheme together of one or two colours and using them throughout rather than just leaving the background white, using yellow on one window, pink on another etc.

some graphics would make it a bit more interesting. the buttons would look a lot better if you had em in 3D and also it would make them easier to find.

also, where you have the titles to the different pages in the box's, maybe you could make those in to actual links to the pages rather than just having the links/buttons in the top right.

just a couple of suggestions i think would help improve. hope thats useful. :)
