then again versatility isn't necessarily a good thing
the way i look at it is, if you can do your own style the best, but still have knowlege and a understanding of others then you are a dope creative artist.
when an producer becomes an hott item alot of their trax will start to sound the same. it's happened w/ every producer that i can think of that's dropped in the last 10 years. timbaland,dre,swizz,neptunes etc... They all had a point at which all their trax sounded the same. They all cam back with hot new ish. I think alot of it might be to where the artists are coming to them wanting that hott sound that's got everybodys ear and when it dies down the producer introduces some new ish they been workin on all the time.
