INTERNAL ZIP for MPC 2000??

Is it NOW possible to replace your FLOPPY with an internal ZIP drive on your MPC 2000???

It's been possible for a very long time. This mod has been done since the MPC2000 was first out many years ago.

The question, is it worth it for $300? Maybe one could sell their MPC2000 for $600, buy the MPC2000XL for $800 plus an internal Zip, and net cost is less than $300.

i hear you, mpc3000. but in a way im sorta attached to my classic 2000 and so would maybe spend the extra money... i know it doesnt make "logical" sense, but...

of course, i have an external zip already...

does it require a floppy to ATAPI adapter of some sort. I wonder how complicated this is. It would be nice to get rid of the external drive and have a piece of gear that is all one-piece.

yea...that's what it seems too.

I know hardware-wise, it's possible...but system-wise, impossible. Right?
