ARE THERE ANY BUGS THAT STILL PERSIST SINCE 1.2 UPDATE?

The MPC triggers MIDI instruments. If it triggered a sustained sample/sound in a MIDI sound module and then you MUTE the corresponding track..it doesn't mute right away. It will only MUTE or not playback any additional sounds.....if I understand you correctly.

i don´t think it was a sustained sound from the m1, because it kept playing the same melody as normal, but didn´t mute as normal.
most of my pre os1.2 projects don´t play correctly now. there are always some - never all - tracks that don´t mute right. most of them keep playing with a faint sound not as loud as unmuted.
for example: track 1+2 are drums from mpc programs, they mute fine.
tracks 3-7 are different midi tracks on my m1, some of them mute some don´t.
before os 1.2 they did all fine, all sound muted, all samples stopped immediatly. so i guess the os screwed up something - or my cf card is corrupt. will try another cf card tomorrow.

So is the continuous sample track option turned OFF?

Did anybody else notice the note repeat button bug or the discard bug that 1.2 has? I wrote about the note repeat bug earlier but I just noticed the discard bug while editing some old samples.

jahrome is right selecta check all your settings and you will be fine, I almost went back to 1.1 by not checking everything thoroughly.

At this point there is nothing you can tell me there is something wrong with O.S 1.2.

I cannot Mute Sh@t! coming from my sound module :

The Crazy part I tracked a song out Friday all of a sudden Saturday I start having problems with muting MIDI coming from my Sound Module.

I didn't change any MIDI settings.

Did you check your continuos track settings? Sure you didn't change your settings but you added a new OS which most likely did.....

It's the Mute/Stop of one-shot sample setting

My default was through I had it set to immediate

so for anyone else having this problem change your mute/stop... back to through

I haven't checked that function yet....but real quick..in the editing/trim menu, is the sample set to Loop On?

I was able to discard the remainder of a kick I sampled

and I was able to discard sections of a 1min 10 second sample

I know you prolly know what your doing...
but you do understand that discard will get rid of data OUTSIDE of whatever you have selected. So if you want to remove the end of a sample you would have to select the beg. and end point of your sample
then select discard.

How long were the samples you were having problems with?
Is your memory Maxed out (128MB)?

if I am not mistaken I believe the loop was set to "on" when this problem occured.
