ARE THERE ANY BUGS THAT STILL PERSIST SINCE 1.2 UPDATE?

No problem with discard here. I've got loop set to on, trimmed an 8 bar sample down to 2 bars with the sliders then hit discard and it got rid of everything outside of my selection.

Is your MPC still doing it now?

it works fine if the loop end point is the same as the sample truncate point but if the loop end point is shorter than the sample truncate point and you have loop set to on it acts a little funky like not discarding whats left outside the selected area or leaving just a little bit of what you wanted to discard sometimes.

If I remember correctly, this behavior is the same for the 2000/2000XL..which is why I stated to turn loop OFF. This is just from my experiences with older MPCs...and this is the way the 2500 worked with the initial OS.

I don't have a problem with this function. If you are, make sure that your swing setting is set to 50% and the shift note function is set to 0. Also, the tempo ofthe track controls the tempo of the note repeat.

I experienced this one today

what I noticed is this only happens to ME when I am synch'd to Sonar.
I only experience this behavior when I'm synch'd using MIDI clock (which by the way was fine before).

For the people experiencing trouble with this one:

a) is your DAW software open while you are using nope repeat
b) If so do you have MIDI clock enabled

when I press play on the MP
everything plays faster (while sonar is open and MIDI clock is enabled)
when I press play in Sonar the MP plays at normal speed.

It appears that they haven't fixed the problem with recording MIDI notes from an 88 key controller. I can get the higher notes to record/play but not the lower notes.......how they could miss this one again is beyond me

I get the same thing with the note repeat too.

Don't use the feature to be honest but it seems like it's a bug nevertheless. I haven't got it synced to anything.

It deosn't make a difference when recording though so i wouldnt say it's a major problem.

Wow the ONLY time I have trouble with note repeat is in Sonar other than that everything is fine.

and I have added info:

when I sync using MIDI TIME CODE no problems whatsoever everything is as it should be.

(Concerning Note Repeat)

But when I sync using MIDI CLOCK that's when I can reproduce the behaviour you guys are talking about.

Sonar 5 is the master the MP is the slave

Wow.. I can't even get the higher notes to record. I guess they're using a 49 keyboard.

1. I can't re-produce the bug where the MPC will not play/record high/low MIDI notes...

2. Track Mute will not work properly if:
A. Continuous sample track is turned ON
B. Mute/stop of one-shot sample is turned to: IMMEDIATE

3. SOLO will not work if mute/stop of one-shot sample is turned to: IMMEDIATE

heres a bug! i pressed mode to go to trim mode and my mpc restarted and i lost all my samples i chopped!!!!!!!!!
