Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

So, I finally got the internal floppy drive on my 2000xl changed to a zip drive.

Now I want to save my exisiting songs on floppy disks onto a zip disk.

How do I do it? It's not like aI can hook up an external floppy drive to my MPC and save that way, can I?

I was about to hire an MPC with the old floppy drive connect the two and sae that way. But how woudl you get one MPC to talk to another (even if they're connected by a SCSI lead)?

Help!!!!

Just out of curiousity: Why did you swap the floppy for a zip drive and not a cf reader?

Back on topic: Your best bet is to get a usb zip drive to connect to your pc and do the transfer of floppy data to the zip on your pc. There is no way you can get one MPC to talk to another MPC through a direct SCSI connection.

The CF reader is the kind of drive you find in the MPC2kxl MCD and the 2k5 and the 1000 it reads writes to compactflash media cards. You will find loads of threads about this on this board.
