Philly Stress - I think cats misunderstood your post (myself included) because there is no way 2 sequence "live" instruments.
The http://www.electrixpro.com/products/repeater.html link shed some light on what u r trying 2 do. This looks like an interesting product but ultimately I think it is just a real robust sampler to allow work with large loops. According 2 the specs, it appears 2 work much like a hard disk recorder with added sequencer functions. Think: The Roots and they way the record their jam sessions and convert them in2 songs. U could probably achieve similar results with any modern sampler with a long sample time.
Ableton Live is also a viable option if u r using live instrumentation. It incorporates a number of the features listed on the Repeater. My boy demo-ed it 4 me and he had loops triggering, MIDI going and live guitar all being recorded at the same time. Hope u find the software/hardware solution u seek. -uno-
