discovery on the 2000 classic

what up evryone, i was under the impression as i think most people are that on the 2k when u re recording a sequence and go out of record intpo play mode or just playin a sequence and u wanna record again u gotta stop the sequencer and then hit record / play again but u dont . while the sequence is playin press and hold record or overdub and hit play again and it starts recording again. i dont know this might be a "daaaaahhhh'' but i just realized so i figured id share, in case peeps werent up on it. cause i think in the comparison chart on this site it says that u gotta stop the sequencer on the 2k to start recordin again .

I didnt know that but I guess I never really tried to do it cause I usually let it stay in overdub and went to a new track or either just stopped it and started back. So I dont really know if I'll need that or not.

this does seem like one of those duuhhh type of things, but hey i can use it. I knew there was a way, but I guess I never tried.

but say u just came back from lunch or usin the nbathroom and hit play to hear a beat u made before and started messin around with the pads and u just wanna do som spontanious sh#t while ure in the groove and dont wanna have to stop it and restart it . or ure recordin and u wanna try something but dont wanna record it, and then u decide to record it u never have to stop the beat, i think its kinda cool
