Wow. What a question. I would have to say that you have asked THE dumbest question I have ever read on this forum. I really hope you dont have a 2500. If you do, you should sell it.

Settle the f*ck down Shrednar. I think it's a perfectly reasonable question, considering there is only one slot which is visible from the outside. Seeing the machine without prior knowledge, I could understand why someone would think that.

Stop trying so hard to be a prick.

Yes, it is a reasonable question. The hard drive goes in between the CD and the CompactFlash slot, and can't be seen from the outside. But you can use all three alongside.

LOL. Coming to the rescue huh? I guess you guys are in the same boat. If you dont know that you can install a CD Rom drive, you havent read up on the machine and need to do so before asking questions like that.If you dont notice the cover for the CD Rom drive you have to be a moron. Maybe thats why you can understand why he didn't notice it? Stupid questions get stupid answers and stupid people dont need to jump in the mix. Are you one of the people thats on this site but doesn't have MPC? Maybe your just one of the ones that keeps saying they are going to get one huh? Unless I write something to you, stay the f**k out of it you nosey little sh!t.

Cut it down a little, shrednar. homie was perfectly right, and your answer was inappropriate. By the way, the question was not about where the CD drive goes, but rather if the hard drive would take up the same slot I think.

Stilo.

While conversely, you're obviously one of those people who desperately lack social skills in real life, so isolated and frustrated, jump at the opportunity to try to belittle ordinary people on the internet.

It's pathetic. Get a life.

(And on a sidenote, speaking of stupid people, who's the only one in this thread who still didn't even quite understand his question? Um, you. Lol.)

easy questions to some are not easy questions to ALL....alot of us are still learning....including myself...give the guy a break damn...why not spend the time you spent to type a book and help the guy out instead of acting like an immature prick...

any how my man...like some one said, no it's not the same bay used for the cd-rom there is another bay inside that will hold your HD...when you go to install one its actually pretty easy and u dont have to take the whole thing apart....just unscrew the 2 screws directly infront...and there is like 3 screws underneath and then the front plate will come off and to the left of the CF card slot you will see the open bay...that is where you will connect and slide in your HD drive....then just format it and you'll be set to go....

hope this helped you a bit....
