MPC1000 OS V3.0 beta ?

News from JJ & Co.:

For those of you that have stopped using the beta version due to lack of a slice function, a beta version with slice is planned to be released on the 6th or 7th. The programmer is in the middle of tweaking it to make it more useable.

Chop shop is still planned for release in the final version.

Keep the bug reports coming. Nym will be putting the official list together for submission.

Mute track recordings is planned?

probably that and track mutes will be implemented if they really try to mirror the 2500 os on the 1000. but don't hold your breath.

meanwhile i'll be returning to the beta testers on the 7th.

Ok cool but all i want to know is if its possable that the data wheel can send MIDI , if i could use my data whell to scrub tracks in Live or cool edit i would be very happy,

Also Nym, how about we run a poll to see how many people will purchase the the final release.
Then we can say to JJ that we XX amount of people and that will be XX amount of cash, so we have a strong voice with him for bug fixes and so on , like i mentioned before we need to know that any existing bugs after the final release will be looked at for a certain period of time 6/12 months.

if you could do that, i would be pleased. just set up a yes/no poll "will you be purchasing os 3.0"

please ask people just to vote - ask them not to discuss 3.0 in that thread. we'll just be using it to get a raw number. while it may not be incredibly useful, it would be good to be able to say to JJ and co "this x30 is what we have to offer."

OK everyone there is a Poll running now concerning V3 please vote but do not post anything there, its just to get a idea of the amount of buyers there is on this forum so we can maybe negotiate some points with the developer if there is enough demand.

loving the solo option in the grid edit - it's better than the "play" option i had suggested
in general, really really loving the grid edit. i like how you can shift time by holding tap tempo and scrolling left/right to select multiple objects and then move them by a couple ticks here and there. this is great stuff, so good for drum programming.

such as the ampenvelopes, new folder and the harddriveissues etc etc ?

nah, i don't play around with operating systems. I let others figure out if it sucks or not, wait for their reports, and if its good and all the bugs are worked out, only THEN do i install it.

The Amp Env bug seems to be gone in 3.0.
