MPC 1000 - M-Audio Keystation Pro 88 - Motif Rack

What's up all.. Hoping one of the seasoned pros can give me a hand here.

I have continually read the manuals, searched the forums, etc etc... but I still can't get my MPC, M-Audio Keystation Pro 88, and Motif Rack working ALL together. I have the midi going out from the keystation into the MPC, then a midi out from the MPC to midi in for the motif rack. Am I missing something here? I am able to trigger the motif from the MPC, but not the Keystation. I feel like I've tried every possible configuration to make this happen.. Any help is greatly appreciated...

MPC IN (1) to Controller OUT, MPC OUT (A) to Motif IN, then set your track on the MPC to MIDI and 1A then you should be able to control the motif from either one. Also when you change to MIDI, open window on the "No.1" and set the lower box to no instead of yes. You should be set! I have the same set up at home with two other racks. By chance if it does not work you might also have a bad MIDI cable- it happens. This will work.

Are you talking about the MPC? Where specifically are you talking about?
I have the track set to midi 1A. Also, I'm pretty sure the cables are all good because I can wire the keystation directly to the motif, bypassing the MPC. The issue pops up as soon as the MPC comes into the mix...

I just got home and tried what you said.. I still can't get any response from the motif w/the Keystation. Any more suggestions?

Do you have MIDI thru set up on the MPC?

Yes I have it set to "as track" is this correct?

Anybody else have any suggestions? This is nuts.. I've taken everyone's advice, read the manuals, searched the forums and NOTHING is working..

I Just Had To Comment I Was Considerin' Buying one Myself.............

It's a great keyboard.. but unfortunately not that great when it won't work itself into the equation. Anybody else have any suggestions, please??

did u press on multi button(on motif)??

Yep Multi button is on.. Also checked the midi receive channel and it's set to 1.. same for transmit channel, and device no. is set to all. The keystation is set to global channel 1 as well. I'm really at a loss here... usually I can figure these things out... Could it be somewhere else within the motif rack?

Can an expert member please step up and tell me how to troubleshoot this?
