i have a used jvc turntable but i don't know how to hook it up to my mpc to sample can someone please tell me how to do this should i buy something else because i tried to put the r/L outs into the mpc's record in but the adapters were to small

I assume that the output of the turntable is with standard rca L/R jacks (a.k.a. phono jacks).You have to buy the 2 connectors from theese rca to the bigger jack (a.k.a. 6,35 jacks or 1/4'' jacks).But that's not all...
You have to get a pre-amp,something to make the signal stronger,before you hook it up to your mpc.It can be a simple amplifier with phono or aux input or you can use an audio mixer with phono ins :)
Anyway,check the connections and you are good to go!
