sup peeps today i tried to partition my jaz drive into 4 seperate peices but it wont let me what to you thnk is the problum?

nevermind its the OS im using that wont allow it .....i guess i got to make folders.

what os are you running?

OS 1.20 i belive its the factory 2000xl-mcd not the modded ----->xl to mcd

Yeah the 1.20 os seems to have lost the possibility to partition a disk despite the fact that it can still read partitions.

Well you always need to use folders (if you store all your files in the root directory of your disk then the MPC will report this disk sooner or later full despite the fact that your disk is not full at all) it's just that you can't make full usage of disks larger than 1 Gig on os 1.20 since you can't make multiple partitions that take up the whole disk.

thanks for letting me know that......because i was thinking that i had to use it as a whole .......and i was gonna order a 2gb card....but i will take your advice and stick with the 1gb card instead

well you can always try os1.14 since that works well with card readers as well and it still gives you the partition function.

i think i will stick with 1.20 i dont wanna mess things up
