Save/Load File Destruction

There is another thread on this matter...and the work around for people having these issues have been posted. Now, that it is made clear that this problem exists on users MPCs, use the workaround, which will solve all your problems. Or continue to talk about why this problem was discovered before releasing the OS. It's nice to have choices

They won't give out fixes to individuals. And believe me, you will notice if there is an official update if you follow this forum

I give up...I can't produce this 'bug' consistently. I tried to rewrite a file but when I reloaded it...the original file was still there. This happened only once for me.

So I went back to Save Entire Memory to a folder.....reloaded the files, made changes..and saved Entire Memory to the same folder. It successfully overwritten the older files.....

Its quirky J. I was involved in the orginal posts about this glitch. I was one of the first to report it, I called Akai on it and actually had a rep that was emailing me back and forth. but then he bailed on me. This glitch pops up randomly and then consistantly, I know, go figure Trust me when I say Akai need to get up off their a$$e$. You put in a hard drive and save how the he!! you wanna not to get "corrupt" and "wrong file" errors. That is so ridiculous. I never had a problem saving to any media ever before this shyt. I tried all the workarounds and saving the entire memory is the best. But dont take my word for it. Remember BACK UP YOUR SHYT.

good idea.. thats what i do.. i save them on the computer.. through the memory card.. and its faster to load from the card to the computer but its a pain in the @$$ to load it from the computer to the memory card cuz its a small memory card.. 32MB... and then dont save them all at once say if you make three beats and save th whole files to a 1gb memory card youll get them mixed up.. then you cant find the file... well on the computer..

Your right but I work on one beat at a time and name everything and put them in the folder with the same name then drag it to my computer and one to a compact flash. Each beat have their own folder and saved at least 3 times, harddrive, computer, cf card.
