Pads to small!!!

I was wondering if I could use the mpd 16 or 24 with my 1000 so I could just rock the pads on them.

is it that much of an issue?? just get a 2000 or 2500

yea u can , jus hook it to midi and bang all u want , the mpd is only $100 so go for that ....u can even get it less...im thinkin of doin tha same thing too...

Not a problem. Plus it will save your pads from wearing, which cost a bit more than $100 to fix anyway. So if you own it long enough, it could pay for itself. It would be akward for me though.

yea but then ur friends could bang out drums with you ... might be cool.. i mean we do it with keyboards all the time but they always love hittin pads

how big are your fingers?

Thanx people. my fingers aint that big man but I'm a bit to paranoid to break those damn pads and when I wanna bang on my mp it hinders my ability to do it and my pads kind of stick and it wont play the sample everytime.

dude,,,it sounds to me like a few of your carbon sheets came unglued from the sensors under the pads...I bought a used 1k and noticed the same problem your havin with a pad. I easily fixed it myself and its like new now. Its very easy to do, if you take your time, and it pays to know how to fix them , that way you dont gotta worry bout fixin them in the future if another 1 comes unglued.. I would read up, and fix them yourself.
