Well my sleep rhythm got alternative during my vacation, and so, the noon was a morning to me - was tired in the morning and woke up late. Now, back in the normal mode: waking up early and being tired all evening...

From MPC 60 to MPC 2500!!

Just got my MPC 2500 from the shop yesterday - I must say it felt good!!
I had been a happy MPC 60 owner since 2001 until it was stolen by some drug addict who probably don't know the difference between a toaster and a MPC.

Anyway, So long the 2500 has been working perfectly and it has buttons and shit I missed out on the MPC 60/MPC 3000. It stands stirdy on my desk and feels almost as qualitative as my old tanklike mpc (miss the leather armrest though :). I updated the OS and it feels as if the sequencing is working fine. Still have to check what happens when I save/load files from the memory card and flash memory.

Realtime filter and pitch sweeps... finally. The q links were what caught my interest in this machine. I thought that I would mind the sample playback being crisper than the 2000xl if I made the switch but I was pleasantly surprised. The layout of everthing, OS and the actual machine, took a little getting used to but I couldn't be happier with 2.5k on my lap. :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!: :!:

Now, let's figure out this ****ing disappearing act bull shit. Hasn't happened to me yet but feel like it will.
