My data wheel is so **** up

i have to kinda hold it up and give some pressure so it could actually work.

I really dont know what to do, is the stick under **** or is it the actual wheel?

Log onto the akai website, and click the link for service in your area. I'm guessing you have the XL, cuz I have to do the same thing to get mine working also.

yeah they die every now and then.
meanwhile your at it, order a note var slider too, because if you don't it's gonna break as soon as your data wheel is fixed. mark my words. I had my techie order some spare parts when he fixed my MPC...
the datawheel and slider parts are just a few bucks each, but the shipping is a lot more.
Or if you fix it at a shop, they're gonna charge you some for the work.. (its actually quite a hassle to open the MPC if your gonna pull out every part...
