Page 62 of the Manual: setting the MIDI program Change number.
Easy way to the program change in, but two problems:
1.) doesn't get sent if you set the sequence "loop" on starting after bar 1
2.) gets resent if you set sequence Loop on and include bar 1
oh,and no bank select either.
this would be sweet if there was a way for the seq "loop" to work like the audio loop settings--start at bar 1, play through the loop end, then return to loop start...but NoOoo. it doesn't work that way....

my Korg ms2000r hickups when looped with the bank change data entered. So the work around goes like this...copy the Korg track with the note data on it (01) to another track (02), but 02 should only have the sound bank change data on it. keep 01 muted when changing the sound bank data. Run track 02 once through to change the Korg sound bank then mute it. then unmute track 01, so that it will play the note data on the changed sound bank.
what a royal pain in the arse! when playing live (with sequenced loops) this could really get ugly!

I looked everywhere and could not find out how to do a program change on my Electribe EA-1. I then figured out a way to do it (I hope this method always works for all these MIDI type things).
1. Connect MPC MIDI out to Electribe MIDI in, Electribe MIDI out to MPC MIDI in
2. Setup the MPC to record on MIDI channel 1 (Electribe's first instrument is set to MIDI channel 1)
3. Start the MPC recording and change program on the Electribe
4. Look in Step Edit and you should see the program change.
