Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Anyone mpc users who also used the mpc1000, i have a question. I live way too far from a guitar city to try this out, but is there a different in the pads besides the size? I have very low upper body strenght particular arms/hands cause of a disability, are they just as easy to push down as a key on a keyboard/piano , or does it take some strength? also is there any ways to change settings like this on an mpc? thanks for the help

Their touch sensative. Dont take much to make them sound off. You can set the velocity of the pads on the mpc1000. But the XL pads are built different from the mpc1000 pads. The mpc1000 will require more work to fix the pads than the XL will if an issue was to occur.

The pads are very easy to bang on.

The pads can be set to be velocity sensitive or full level.

Inside the 1k and 2k/2kxl the pad assemblies are made different.

Do you think the pads are easier to push on the 1000 or 2000xl?

Id have to agree and say the 2KXL is alot easier. And if your worried about the sensitivity you can use full level which will make it play at full velocity even with hitting it lightly. The pads are very sensitive, i dont think you'll have any problems with either of them but id still recommend a 2000XL.
