Recording

I have a few synths,(one sampler) and a mixing board (tascam), and masterdeck, i'm looking for a particular sound for mixdown, somekind of hardware or software device that will polish my overall track(song), something like a tube amp, compressor, eq??? to fatten up the song, and add crisp to the high ends, can anyone suggest anything outhere in the electronic world?

Sounds like you need a mastering package. I use T-racks. I think a company called IK Multimedia makes it, and it's a sofware eq-compressor-limiter package.
If you prefer hardware and money is not an issue you could try something like:

even better then that is the Focusrite MixMaster...a little more pricey, aroud $1600 U.S...but youll never need to send your shit to be mastered again
