you'll be getting the same deal we are - including 6 pad / 16 pad grid edit. i just looked in your manual - currently your grid edit sees 3 pads at a time, correct?

primarily, what you'll be getting is global parameter controls (mode pad 11) which allows you to change filter/effect/lfo/attack/decay/etc/etc for multiple pads at one time

also control of all pads in a program using the qlink sliders, as well as tempo.

a better saving/loading browser

(presumably) a working mtc (which apparently you already have, but i haven't read up on that)

metronome sound/volume adjustment

stereo slicing

hell basically a lot of things just visit the site and see what you don't already have, i'm at work and shouldnt be browsing haha

Will this alternative also have all the features of version 1.22?? cus i dont wanna install the alternative OS and lose all the features of the other OS's

Akai, please release an MPC 5000 so I can stay far away from Antonym's threads :P

So JJ OS for the 2500? So there is really no reason to buy a 1000.

Oh....and JJ will not make any money off of me :wink:
