i havent even gotten my mpc yet an i've still gone thru the entire thread !
i do have a question tho:
since the other mpc's pads are built as a sheet, does that mean if one pad craps out, you have to replace or fix the whole sheet? so would you not be able to just dismantle it and repair a single pad with some of the methods listed here?
if thats the case then thats the deciding factor on my getting a 1000 cos i was thinking of a 2500 for just a bit more cash
my problem is that i'm literally a thousand miles in any direction from the nearest dealership/repairshop/decently developed country, so being able to fix the pads myself becomes a major factor.
putting aside the "better build quality" argument for a second, i do have to consider the possibility of even the 2500's pads breaking down one day.
