I ask because it was sort of obvious that you came from a computer based sequencer. MPCs will most likely never do everything computer software can..not matter how much we beg for these features. Many people use MPCs because they hate sequencing on computers. MPCs have been around for almost 20 years. Previous model MPCs do even less (minus the MPC 4000).

this cannot be done on 1000/2500 due to pgm file architecture. massive reworking of the code has to be done for this to happen, and it's just not logical when time could be better spent on other, more easy to implement features. hence simult to take care of the lack of filtering seperate layer.
i'd rather see qlink grid than being able to read more than snd and wav.
bitrate parameters would be really awesome though. unfortunately, i don't see it happening unless they implement it into an effect - and the final output would still be 16 bit, it'd just be a masking effect, kind of like dx bit crushers. i'd still love to see it happen though - what if bit crushing params were applied to qlinks - and automated?![]()
