Hi can anyone tell me if its possible to load the last OS for the 2000xl (1.14) from scsi zip or CD rom. I have a built in ZIP Drive & OS 1.12 (no floppy)? Thanks.......

Should be.
Here is how my friend did it on his machine.
Format a ZIP cart in your PC or MAC as DOS/FAT16.
Download and UNZIP/UNSTUFF the *.BIN OS file to this ZIP cart.
Boot your MPC2000XL, insert the ZIP cart above.
Change the default storage device to the ZIP drive.
Perform the upgrade process as per AKAI's documentation.
Do this all at your own risk.
