Snares and Laying Loops

Recommendations for the best way to layer the loops. I have read on Sound on Sound about laying only the kick drums over a loop and leaving the original snares in the loop. But I also read about Just Blaze and others sampling the original kicks and snares reprogramming the beat. How do they line up the snares? Any ideas or tips? Does anybody add silence on the snare in the loops or chop up the loop and chop up your programming?

Help a novice out and one day you can say Hey I help that famous beatmaker out when he didn`t know sh*t!!! Look at him now!

How many tips do you know about this little topic? I see that it is late but are you the one asking about MPC 4000 questions earlier on sequencing. I can give you tips also. Snares with loops isn`t easy for me yet? If you can help I appeciate it. Of yeah I also I have the 4000 and yes the 1.51 works fine especially for sending out throught 8 outputs, 16 tuning on the level function and midi with sampling in the record section. I usually use the filters with q-link function also. Ask and tell?

People will answer your question if you keep them in one thread that is directly related

Just keep one thread going and ask questions

This is not the most popular forum on the inet so you have to wait for your answer, and if you get 20 views just assume they dont know or they find your antics annoying

Sorry for the many posts, but this is my first time to actually write here. Thanks for help earlier. And I really want to express that persistantance can get one`s question answered. I still haven`t got all my questions answered concerning resampling and sequencing from the Questions to the Pros, but hey If nobody knows say it. I didn`t want to go out like the other Member saying that nobody helps because someone out there does. Every major producer had help along the way from friends, engineers, and pros trading tips. For anyone else seeking help check ou Beat tips Manual by Said is covers some pretty interesting tips. And for Iceberg Thanks for the help I aint mad at cha.

Help a novice out and one day you can say Hey I help that famous beatmaker out when he didn`t know sh*t!!! Look at him now! I line my snares up with my loop by trimming the loop the best i can recording it on the 1 and then adjusting the tempo till it sounds good that's how I do it on the 4000 or any mpc. I have another sampler the rs7000 that has slicing features the mpc might have it too but what the slicing feature does is it takes a sample and slices it into seperate pieces that you can play individualy for instance the kick,snare,etc hope I helped you out
