You can use this quote for drums(Drum Breaks),too!--" If the loop is Undeniable,loop it.........." For Drums, i preffer chopping drum breaks up into single hits(or sometimes 2 hits to a chop-and PGM play:MONO), you get more flexability out of em when they chopped...You can play the break back exactly like the og loop-if u choose,too...or u can create a new pattern and you can use the same Drum break,once its chopped and Programmed, over and over again-tweak the tuning,panning,add efx,resample em,filter em,BLAHZAY,BLAHZAY....the possibilities are endless!!! If you peep alot of the older beats(from the sampling era) they mostly used the whole break or half it and looped it..... When it comes to everything else if the loops hot and never been used b4(or it was used 11 yrs ago on some unknown joint-as long as it aint a copycat. Nut again when you chop joints up, you get mad flexability and many endless possibities. In the end its all on you and the finished product! Hope this helps you.Peace.
