just wanted to know what people think...........whats up mpc2500 users wanted to talk about the data wheel . 1....that damn clicking sound is garbage .2 ....it seem slower than the 2000xl i have already took the paint off with my finger seems that the wheel is the cheapest part and has anyone changed the wheel yet feels like it is going to break p.s. also will someone come out with a new o.s. that is bug free and freeze free

I prefer the solid click on the data wheel. The 2000XL would skip or start going the wrong way sometimes.

i'm used to it too now. The 2000xl wheel was crap too, 2000 wheel with the ring was dope.
For the cheap paint...as soon as the warranty is over i'm gonna put it in paint remover for a few hours so i can wipe the cheap paint off and it's gonna be all white. I used to do this with the old painted vestax fader caps, this looks so sexy!

i hate the wheel. i don't mind the "stepping" through data but it is sooooo cheese. Actually, before I bought it I played with the display model. I asked the rep if the wheel was broken and he was like, "um. hmmm. maybe. this doesn't feel right." lol

Nope, it sure does not.

Has anyone found a replacement? My friend said we just need to find the diameter of the shaft or something? I dunno, but I want a happy wheel not no fake wheel.
