Anyone else getting this? In step edit, rolling the data wheel from the left col should move you from step to step, right? That's fine and good. But from the fields (D, V, etc) it should ONLY adjust the data there. Well since I installed the most recent JJOS, rolling the wheel in the data fields causes it to jump to the next and/or far-flung steps. This happens particularly if I'm rolling the wheel quickly. It's like it thinks I've pressed the arrow key and then started rolling.

Anyone else have this happen?

Oh, and finally I'm feeling the love for grid edit too! Helped me out a lot on quickly piecing drums for this track I'm working on!

(anyone who wants to check should check http://dcbeats.net/takeit.m3u for the current version)

i haven't been in step edit for a LONG time, so i don't know about this. get a reproduceable bug going on and ship it off to jj for a quick turnaround.

glad to hear you're digging the grid!

I dunno if you want I should post primarily here or on your board about JJ bugs/requests and stuff. (speaking of which I put in a request to join and haven't heard further, said the mods needed to approve...)

I have definitely experienced this numerous times, pretty much any time I go into step edit and forget to roll slow. There's a possibility this could be that the knobs of my USB midi controller are being jolted and sending data.... does incoming MIDI control data adjust these fields? Never tried. But attempting to reproduce here where I'm not hooked up to anything, I'm not experiencing the problem.

So in grid, can you adjust duration and velocity and whatnot? Oh shit I just realized you can!

Well, this is still a bug but if grid edit allows all that, haha. Damn I won't need it for much of anything (maybe CCs, they don't show in grid, right...?) I wanna be able to record CC data via the Qlinks dammit. Haha. We're getting spoiled with this new OS.

In other MPC news, my CF drive died, (not the card) but oh well. HDD is fine!

this has effectively squashed those boards as far as i'm concerned, i really don't think it's worth a mod approval just to keep bots out when you can delete bot profiles so easily.

sorry about your cf card, man

Yeah for a very small board this could work but with the numbers you're bound to get after mentioning it on this board, etc. It'd be impossible for mods to keep up anyway.

It's

http://dcbeats.net/takeit.m3u

sounds tight. the only thing that needs to be changed is the crash cymbal. maybe try one from a roland tr-909, so it will blend better with the rest of the drum kit. :)

i been havng this problem 2. I was gon make a post bout it. ALso, JJ should make the PLAY START button to work in song mode like it is in the main screen. The stutter start. In song mode u have to do the old PLAY START then STOP to do this.

Thanks for the listen. Yeah, I need to change the sounds as well as the levels, I'm on it!

@SELFISH1: You've had the prob with the wheel moving to different events instead of adjusting the values you're trying to change? As far as stuttering an entire song, workaround for now is just convert to sequence.

Yeah same prob. That stutter is just some extra shit, no big deal really.I aint complaining, this OS shits (poops) on 2.1.
