http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ ... sku=511798

this guitar comes with a MIDI pick up .. so you can control a MIDI
sound module .. or synth .. this is prolly what you need to play live with a MIDI set up ...
roland sells a pickup by itself .. but its almost the price of this AX
with a MIDI pickup already installed ..

now i did something nice  i dont have to be nice for another month 8)

Ty the thing was Sinster took it as if u were saying "you" didnt own an mpc. But i knew exactly what u meant but thats besides the point. It does matter if u own an mpc or not if u know the answer u know the answer point blank. When i was over at mvnation they were talkin sh*t to me to cause i didnt own an MV but i knew what the f^ck i was talkin about. But um ne ways to the original poster has ne thing worked out for you yet?

Nicole

p.s. Gear aint nothing if u aint doing sh*t wit it by da way.

To be honest it depends on the question. If i know how much ram a machine can hold then i will tell. You dont have to own an mpc, mv, ect to know how much max ram one can hold. Why? Because its in the specs/manual.

But on the other hand if i tried to explain to someone how to record on the mpc, mv, ect and never even recorded on one thats different.

So its questions u can answer that dont require you to own the device. And thats what i did over there. I answered questions that were either pure common sense or didnt require me to actually have to own the machine to give step by step directions.

p.s. You sure u ok? Cause when i knew u back in 2003 u neva talked like this. You were so nice. U even wanted me to be a mod on your site. Whateva happen to your site ne ways?

this is the way i see it. If you dont own or have not used the gear you cant not answer questions about using it. can you answer things you see / read about example how many out or general sampler questions per say yes. The 2k xl is a specific peice of gear and to say you can record into a seq is wrong 100 % no matter what. Even with a midi guitar he said live and you still cant just play live into the sequence like direct record. So i agree theres questions you can answer being a long time mpc user but to someone who only rocked a drum machine and just got a sampler should not be giving out advice. Just because someone can press a record button dosnt make them a recording eng you feel me.

Yeah i understand where both you and Sinster where coming from but i was only stating that U CAN answer questions about a machine that u havent owned BUT it depends on the question. As i gave an example above. But I do agree u cant explain how an mpc's sequencer handles information if u never used the mpc's sequencer. Just gettin that out there.

It's called double-posting so he can get answers faster or if one site does not answer, he still has a chance.....were you home-schooled ?
