Toyt. Toyt loyk a toyger.(goldmember style)

Looks like he got a tascam player/burner, a Samson Amp
a Fatman compressor, a patchbay, an emu Proteus2000? (one of those series, maybe a turboPhatt?) Yo, my main concern: Bottom right in the rackshelf, what is that 2spc piece with the crazy buttons. Is that a monosynth joint?

His monitor looks like it's on an arm or mount that can move down to eye level if it's not that would be a pretty good idea.

hint...there's only a dj set on the desk, speakers and monitor at ear and eye height.

I posted my crib before, way back. Since I've recently moved, I thought I'd post my new crib. My Nord Lead and Waldorf Pulse are staying at a friend's house for a while. I think I'm going to sell them and buy an MS10 or MS20..

Lo-fi you have a real tight workspace. Very Nice.

What genelec's are they?

What were the monitors you had before and how do they compare?

By lo-fi Fri Oct 20, 2006 11:07 pm
Thanks guys. I kinda like it too...

Those are Genelec 4040s. I had Spirit Absolute 2s before and the Genelecs are MUCH tighter, cleaner and more transparent.

Dam lo-fi thats the nicest ive seen in a while, looks really good to work in.

I noticed none of you guys have a "homely" feel to you studios, like posters, lava lamps ect to make yourself/client feel more relaxed or at home. Whys that?
