Very nice and combfy setup.....three samplers I see, outta the three I'd use the MPC......

hmm, you dont make good decisions. The sp1200 would be the better choice

nice lo-fi

I have to say I do more work on the MPC. But it's nice to be able to do a whole track on the SP somtimes, or use the SP for drums and the MPC for longer samples. Or sample the SP into the MPC. Or whatever. It's just nice to have more than one sampler.

The Beat Console :D

Toyt. Toyt loyk a toyger.(goldmember style)

Looks like he got a tascam player/burner, a Samson Amp
a Fatman compressor, a patchbay, an emu Proteus2000? (one of those series, maybe a turboPhatt?) Yo, my main concern: Bottom right in the rackshelf, what is that 2spc piece with the crazy buttons. Is that a monosynth joint?

Good eyes bro! Correct.

rockWell wrote:damn good eye trupro... you know your gear

does your neck get sore animalclub? it seems like your monitors and monitor  are a little too high for comfort
I'd atleast bring the speakers down

rock

The Monitor is on an adjustable arm and I can be brought down to a nice level.

I only sit down to work with the MPC. Once I have layed the beat down, I'm usually on my feet doing skratches, EQ, patching, mixing etc.

Correct!

NappyBoy001 wrote:i agree too cluttery

It may look cluttery but it actually a very well thought out set up.

Everything is wired to a patchbay.

The mouse and keyboard are wireless.

The MPC shelf can be slid under the desk when I use the turntable.

The whole desk is on wheels so when I have friends over i unplug two extention leads and push the whole console into my living room.

OH! and before I forget did I mention that I built the whole thing from scratch out of MDF :D

this is still a very temporary setup. Those monitors are KLH's NOT KRK's.
I will be going mostly all software using cubase or sonar. I will be getting HS80M's monitors, mpd24 and the M-Audio keystation 88 pro. I will just keep my mk2 1210, and motif es rack.
