Breakdowns

I know how to do some basic things with the mpc but i want to know how to create breakdowns for beat. I know that you could do something with the note repeat but can anyone offer some tips?

It's really easy to make a breakdown with the track mutes screen, where you can see all the tracks and choose which ones to silence. Also, don't forget Tracks->Sequences->Song, so you're making all your individual pieces of the song with the sequences and putting them together in a song.

this sounds mad promising please elaborate that.. I'm readin the manual now but it dont' really portray it like that.. i'm lookin on pg 20 and pg. 41... original os and manual is what i'm rockin so that might be why....
