I just spent 5 (f-i-v-e) hours creating drum sounds no breaks, sampling, editing, eqing, efx. then when i get ready to save to zip the thing freezes up on me, so i have to reboot and loose all my work! This is not the frist time this ---- has happened. what a waste of time.can any one tell me what am i doing wrong?am i working the mp to hard?Your input is greatly appreciated.

When youre working on drum sounds for that long, I would suggest saving your work every 5-10 minutes to avoid crappy situations such as the one you just incountered, that does suck though :?

It should just write over it, like the 3'5' floppies do

man, i save so much that i sometimes make the mistake of erasing a sequence & losing a beat!

make sure you set the mp to save the same sounds.
