help with file formats for samples

so the two formats of files can be .wav and .aiff? iwoke up not remembering pertinent info today..plus my US-122 finally came in so i can record, ithought id ask if anyone could let me know, thanks in advance

Not sure what target you're aiming at... there are many file formats, but the MPC1000 takes mono or stereo WAV at 44100 only. Anything else will fail to load, may even crash it (which happened to me once)...

i just wanted to make sure it was only .wavs, cause i thought i had read different somehwere else..thats all..
