I just got a Motif ES and no manual
I was wondering this?
okay I lay my drum track on the first channel then
I want to for instance lay some horns on the 2 track
I get noting.
I know I have too change the control # within midi controller
and mpc.
so I have the rack the midi controller and mpc set on midi 1 then I send the msb # and the drums are lock
I put it on 2 channel ,program change 2 ,msb# and no sound unless
I change the rack to channel 2.
when I change it too the 2 channel within my rack my drum are gone
I know its something simple but I cant call it.

you need to switch to multi mode....there you can assign a sound to every channel
