the purpose of music is to make the things by yourself.

but, check this forum, and look for some sample pack made by users (most of time it is just some break beats).

for some sample you could look at : vynil, Cd, radio, tv, whatever device which make sounds.

there is not really hiphop samples, but samples turned into an "hiphop style, way"...but you already know the answer: that's your part of the job ;)

Iv always been unsure about the legal issues when it comes to taking a sound from someones beat, so iv never used another artists beat, cause im kinda new to this whole thing, i just use sounds from reason. Cause in the end, i want the sound to belong to me.

i agree, but if you tweak enought a sample, or chop small, it will be hard to determine if it is a known sample, even for his original creator.

if you dont make money from your music, you shouldnt be scared using samples, no one will ask you something.

yeah, my music catalouge is 90% hip hop, i need to get some oriental sounds and shit like that
