Just a Midi question

Sorry i dont now what is midi transformer or where it is.
But cubase and nuendo is the same or not?
can you tell me where the midi transformer is in nuendo and i try to search it in cubase.
you are the only one who whrite in this tread, i dont now why some other guys do not help me out.

Cubase and Nuendo are pretty much the same application when doing music production.

Create a MIDI track. Once the MIDI track is created, look to the section where you assign MIDI channels. Look for the M (mute), S(solo), R(read), W(write) buttons. To the right of that, there should be another button for the Input Transformer. Let me know if you locate this button.

This is where you make settings that will allow the track to respond to only one MIDI channel. So you can set up 16 MIDI tracks with VST instruments or software synths, and will be able to sequence them directly from the MPC with ease.

i think i have found it.(is it a arrow button?)
it is a window where you musst klick to input?(i dont now what it is in english i have it in german[einfügen]) and under the input button is a deleat button? is that the right one?is that right that i musst do it in every midi channel?

Yup! You found it. You have to set every MIDI channel up like that. But you only have to do it one time. After you set it up, save that project as a template. So every time you have a recording session...you have the perfect place to start.

Once you open up the input transformer...



Filter Target= Channel
Condition= Unequal
Parameter= 1 (MIDI channel)
Active mode 1= (check mark)
Mode= Filter



If Cubase has Presets....choose Preset Channel Filtering...Pass Channel 1. Doing this will do most of the above. Active module should be checked though....
