Qatar is a city that the Marines had rest and relaxation periods in, spend time there to get away from the constant work, to go and relax. I went twice in my 6 month tour. I enjoyed some tours, hotel, swimming, basketball and jogging. It's like club med over there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qatar
