that's crazy!
it's never happened to me.
Maybe it has something to do with a corrupt program/sample/project.

i get this shit all the time.. i get it when i loop parts to tight and wehn i use decay or attack at high levels...i avoid these problems simply by converting my samples to the correct bit depth and sample rate and not using an to much attack and decay..

What sample rate and bit depth do you use naugie?
This is making me **** insane.
Nothing like working on a calm relaxed track and suddenly getting throw in a mosh pit with a crack head.

"what" indeed, the sound itself (always at maximum volume) totally shocks the system with headphones on!

Kinda reminds me of the venetian snares show I went to a little while ago. Came out of that show with a new appreciation for tinnitus ;)
