whers my samples

Im not new to making beats just new to the mpc1000! I would leave a link but I dont know if thats ok in this forum. anyway mode + load+my sample+assign to pad a1+keep+do it. then I hit mode+trim+my sample+slice 8 regions+do it+convert to patch phrase then do it... now where is my sample that now matches any tempo. cant find it to work with it!

if you use patched phrase, the sample itself is changed into a patched phrase. you can use it now, even if you change the tempo. it will change it's tempo too. souds like you want to slice your loop, so hit F2 - sliced sample instead of F3 - patched phrase!
